On May 29, 2026, Williamstown High School's AFJROTC NJ-20003rd Fighting Braves hosted their 26th Annual Military Ball, bringing together cadets, families, staff, and distinguished guests for an evening rooted in tradition, leadership, service, and camaraderie.

A formal event with attendees in evening wear and military dress uniforms.

The Military Ball serves as one of the program's most cherished traditions, offering cadets the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments while honoring the customs, values, and history of military service. Throughout the evening, attendees participated in a formal program that included the Presentation of the Colors, formal toasts, a POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony, dinner, and the time-honored traditions of the mess.

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was the POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony, which encouraged all in attendance to pause and reflect on the sacrifices of service members who were prisoners of war, missing in action, or never returned home. Through symbolism, tradition, and remembrance, cadets paid tribute to those whose service and sacrifice must never be forgotten.

The evening also provided an opportunity to recognize the graduating seniors whose leadership, dedication, and commitment have helped shape the success of the Fighting Braves program. Congratulations to C/Col Ty Barber, C/Col Haley-Jade Scott, C/Capt Shanique St. Louis, C/SSgt Cecilia Giaccobe, C/Major Keniyah Brunson, C/SSgt Nikko Shaw, C/Capt Taryn D’Auria, C/2Lt Jayda Shaw, and C/SSgt Jesus Guzman. Your contributions have left a lasting impact on the program and those who will follow in your footsteps.

A special thank you goes to the cadet leadership team, honor guard, event committee, instructors, and advisors whose countless hours of planning and preparation made this year's Military Ball possible. We also extend our gratitude to the families and supporters who continue to encourage and uplift our cadets throughout their journey.

The values represented throughout the evening—respect, integrity, service, and leadership—are a reflection of the outstanding young men and women who make up the AFJROTC NJ-20003rd Fighting Braves. Monroe Township Public Schools is proud of their accomplishments and grateful for the example they set within our school community.
