Pathfinder: Industrial Revolution in America

Industrial Revolution in America

The Industrial Revolution began in England in the middle of the 18th century, and spread to the rest of Europe and the United States in the early 19th century. Innovations in technology and the advent of mass production changed the way people lived and worked. This created a shift in location as a large portion of the population moved from farms and the countryside into urban areas.
